I have ridden a lot of quads and there have been very few stock seats that I have liked. Some times the seats are too slippery, some times the foam is too firm or too soft. With that said usually one if the first things I change is the seat cover. The stock Raptor 700 seat was decent but I always found myself sliding around on the seat when I really got aggressive. I decided to give Quad Tech a shot, I had heard lots of good things about them so I wanted to see their product first hand. I gave them a call to talk about color choices. There are certain times they answer the phone for orders so if you can’t get the phone during the day consider ordering from their website. After they answered some questions I headed to their website at www.quadtech-atv.com and did my order online. The order and check out went pretty easy. One cool thing about Quad Tech is they will install your seat cover for free if you cover shipping both ways of your stock seat pan. That’s a great option for people who are nervous about destroying their brand new custom seat cover.

Since I had never installed a hump seat before I decided to take that route. I boxed up my stock seat and shipped it out. About two weeks later I received my seat back with an amazing new hump seat cover. I was extremely happy with the looks and feel of this seat. The quality of this cover is awesome, the materials are top notch, the gripper material really plants you and keeps you from moving around when you need to be planted. The other materials seem thicker then stock and seem to resist any abrasions. The foam seems a little more comfortable and gives you more feedback on what the quad is doing.

In conclusion, the new Quad Tech Hump seat is a winner. It looks awesome, and performs even better. I now have had my hump seat for going on two years and it still looks good as new and has enhanced my control of the bike keeping my body planted when needed. Check out Quad Tech even if the Hump seat is not your style, they also have a Desert and Stock style custom seat cover. So I am sure they have a seat cover that will fit just about everyone’s needs.

This beefy spine is made from 6061-T6 Aircraft grade aluminum and went through many revisions until ATR ended up with a shape that is low in weight, while adding the needed rigidity!
This spine is designed to reinforce the entire length of the 4” x 1.5” main frame tube. The Chassis Spine will keep the main frame tube true and keep it from deforming from the stress of racing and aggressive trail riding. Another problem area the ATR Chassis Spine solves is that without a skid plate the main frame tube is exposed and easily dented from hitting rocks or stumps. Once the frame tube is dented it can be easier for it to deform further. The Chassis Spine can be used to bring some damaged frames back to spec.

The Chassis Spine is a simple “bolt on” install as well! If your chassis is out of alignment it may require more force from a mallet and block of wood to install them, but it will straighten your deformed frame in the process.

For more information visit ATR’s website at AllTerrainResearch.net or call them at 903-581-0008.

You can also discuss their product more thoroughly at Can-AmForum.com as well!
